Today had the sad news that Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has died at the age of 76. One of the best-selling musical artists of all time, she was the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Sad to learn that lyricist Hal David has died. Fortunately, he’s left behind a legacy of great songs, some of which we play (plus the first, which was Number One when I was born!).
