Happy 2014!

01 Jan

As usual, WordPress have sent us a report to show how the site has done over the last year. And if statistics aren’t your thing, do grab our free 2014 PLUC calendar, which contains a handy Circle Of Fifths (our full-sized transposing tool is available here).

  • Our website relaunch in June 2012 saw us get 17,000 views that year & a busiest day of Boxing Day 2012 (178 views).
  • By the end of 2013, our site had been viewed a further 40,000 times, with the top day being Dec 22 (377 hits), when people were busy checking on PLUC Member’s Choice 2013 – The Vote.
  • We receive visitors from 125 countries worldwide, mainly from the UK but with the USA & Australia not far behind.
  • On the Top 100 Ukulele Sites, we’re rated as number 32 & on Boat Paddle’s Top Uke Sites we’re number 64, which isn’t bad considering we have stiff international competition.

I would like to make a Circle of Fifths, transposing wheel, but cannot see a way to copy it. Please give instructions to make it!

      Hi Kenneth,
The instructions for making & using the Circle of Fifths are on this page: https://lewishamukulele.wordpress.com/transposing-tool-2/

Click on the small image; save it the usual way you save images from websites – eg right click & “Save image as…” for a PC (or just print out the webpage if you don’t know how to save images); & follow the remaining instructions.

      Hope that helps.

      Jeanette
